Rhino Rack Roof Rack Installation - 2020 Nissan Pathfinder- Video

Adam: Hi everybody. Adam with etrailer. today we have a 202O Nissan Pathfinder and we're going to be taking a look at the Rhino Rack Vortex Aero Roof Rack System. So this is going to be a great way just to free up some of that room on the inside of our Pathfinder here. If you guys are going on a weekend trip or maybe even a long, long trip and you're going to be spending a lot of time in the vehicle, so be able to get a lot of that cargo up and out of the inside is an option we're going to have with these crossbars.We're also going to have options to put bike racks up here if you guys don't want to have anything sticking off the back end of the Pathfinder and also we're going to have a couple awnings here too, that you can put on the side and just be able to create kind of a nice chill spot if you guys are camping anywhere.We are going to get a bunch of features with this system. One, if you guys do have raised rails on your Pathfinder, it's going to be super, super quick and easy to clamp them down over there so you guys can get ready for the road. more

Thule SquareBar Crossbars Installation - 2018 Nissan Pathfinder- Video

Hey, everyone. Today we have a 2018 Nissan Pathfinder and we're going to do a test fit of a Thule square bar crossbar roof rack system. Now, this roof rack system mounts to the raised side rails on your Pathfinder. It's going to allow you to get any of your favorite accessories, whether that's a bike rack, kayak carrier or even a cargo box, on your roof, so you can get those accessories on top without taking up any more space inside your vehicle.Now, you have two different components making up this roof rack system. Up top, we're going to have our 53 inch square bar crossbars. With the square bar, you bare going to have a bit more wind noise and drag when compared to a more aerodynamic bar, like Thule has in their wing bar.Sometimes having this square bar up there, is just going to give you a more rugged look to your vehicle which is sometimes what people prefer. more

Yakima CoreBar Steel Crossbars Installation - 2018 Nissan Pathfinder- Video

Hey guys. Today we have a 2018 Nissan Pathfinder and we're going to do a test fit on the Yakima CoreBar crossbar roof rack system.Now, this roof rack system is going to mount to the raised side rails on your Pathfinder and it's going to allow you to get your favorite accessories, whether you've got a bike rack, a kayak carrier, or even a rooftop cargo box up on your roof and get those proper gear on your roof so you don't have to take up any space inside your vehicle.Now, this roof rack's made up of two different parts. Up top, we're going to have our Yakima CoreBar cross bars. These are going to be made out of steel with a vinyl coating on top to help protect it from rust and corrosion. If I take off the end cap, you're going to see the steel right here on the center, and like I said, that vinyl is just covering all around it and along with this end cap, it's going to protect it from rusting over time.Now, we have the 60 inch ones on top but if you want a longer crossbar, to maybe have some more crossbar overhang, you can opt for the longer bar, just see etrailer.com, and one thing you don't want to make sure of is that your crossbar opening does not extend past your side view mirrors, as long as you're within that range then you can go ahead and get the bigger size.Down below we're going to have the Yakima TimberLine towers connecting our CoreBar crossbars down to our raised side rails. You can see that it has this bracket that comes over the top of our CoreBar and clamps down on top of it to keep it in place. more

Today, on our 2014 Nissan Pathfinder, we'll be taking a look at and showing you how to install the Rhino-Rack RS 2500 Roof Rack System. That part number is RRRS623B. The Rhino-Rack Roof Rack kit is a perfect solution for carrying any of your vehicle roof rack accessories on your vehicles roof. The aerodynamic design of the crossbars is going to help to reduce wind noise and drag, and the weather strip in the middle can be removed and cut down to work with channel-mounted accessories, so it's going to help to keep that dirt, debris, and liquid out of your crossbar. Today on our 2016 Nissan Pathfinder we're doing a test fit of the Rhino rack vortex aero crossbars. The part number for the crossbars we're using today is RRVA126V-2 for our SX series legs we're using RRSX001. We already have that front crossbar in place. We're going to show you how we put the back bar together and then how we put in onto our vehicle. We're going to start by taking our foot pack here and we're just going to slide it in place on our crossbar. Then we can move this off to the side and we'll open up our vehicle doors. more

Today on our 2015 Nissan Pathfinder we're doing a test fit of the Rhino-Rack Vortex Aero Crossbars. The part number for the crossbars we're using today is RRVA126B-2. Then for our foot pack here we're using RRSX001. We already have our front crossbar all set up together and on our vehicle. I'm going to pull in our white table here, and we'll show you our back crossbar, how we put on the foot pack, and then how we load it up onto our vehicle. We're going to start by taking our foot pack here and just pulling it all the way back, flip it around, and we're going to fit it into our channel here at the bottom. It should be pretty easy to slide over. more

Thule Roof Rack Review - 2014 Nissan Pathfinder THARB60- Video

Today on our 2014 Nissan Pathfinder we're going to be test fitting the Thule Rapid Crossroads roof rack system. Today we're using the 60" aero blades. These are part number THARB60, and the Rapid Crossroads foot packs, which are part number TH450R. Now per the Thule fit guide it calls for a 53" bar, but we found through a test fit that the 60" bars will work, so we just want to give you an idea what they look like on the car. Now we've already got the rear bar installed so we'll place the front bar right onto the side rails of the vehicle here. Now we need to get our feet in line with each other so what we're going to do is measure back from this fixed point of where the side rails meet the foot of the side rails. We're going to measure back from there 2" to the leading edge of our foot pack. more

Thule Roof Rack Review - 2014 Nissan Pathfinder THARB53- Video

Today on our 2014 Nissan Pathfinder we're going to be test fitting the Thule Rapid Crossroads roof rack system. We'll be using part numbers THARB53 for the aero blades and part number TH450R for our foot packs. We've already got the rear of the rack installed so we'll show you how to take care of installing the front half. We're going to place the front crossbar directly onto the front roof line of our vehicle, allowing it to rest onto our side rails. Now we'll need to find a fixed point to measure from, and there's a nice meeting place between the side rail and the foot pack here, so we'll measure back from that 2" to the leading edge of our foot pack. We're going to do this measurement on both sides. This will help to ensure that our feet are in line with one another. With our feet in line we'll take a quick look to be sure we have our bars centered, or equal overhang on either side. more
